Follow the White Rabbit to Galibardy Jewellery

I've noticed a trend surfacing in 2009. The opening of Callooh Callay in Shoreditch, and tea parties such as the Vintage Patisserie run by Angel Adoree and club nights like White Rabbit in London, have all been inspired by the Lewis Caroll classic, Alice in Wonderland.

With the Tim Burton's adaptation starring Johnny Depp and Anne Hathway set for release in 2010, the Alice in Wonderland influence will be seen in all areas of life from eating and drinking to fashion.

In fact, just a few days ago on Elle.com, hot US jewellery designer Pamela Love, who has created capsule collection with friend Zac Posen, was quoted saying that Alice in Wonderland was the pair's muse for their new collection.

The whimiscal pieces are expected to go on sale in Liberty in London, but if your purse won't stretch to Pamela and Zac's coveted collection, you should visit Lisa Galibardy's store at the Brick Lane Sunday Up Market (next to the lady selling cupcakes) or online (she also ships internationally).   I've already spied and fallen in love with is the brass White Rabbit ring (£12) above.
