So I've finally got round to writing up my review of Sushi Hiro only to discover last week that the mysterious Ealing stalwart is no-more. It's been replaced by a Sushi Atariya, the Japanese fish mongers that supplies fresh fish to many of the top Japenese restaurants in London.
Gone is the frosted glass sex-shopesque window and replaced are normal restaurant shop front that actually allows you to look in. There are also a lot more tables than it's predecessor.
Speaking to the girls who work in the restaurant the owners have sold up, but the same chefs remain and from what I could see the menu hasn't changed either with it's nonense approach with the fish the heart of the food.
Sushi Atariya has branches across London, I've never been to one but to read a really great write up of one take a look this blog post by London Eater.

I eat there very regularly.. wrote a review on my blog if you want to have look (though I've got to update the pictures).. just book a little in advance...
I will definitely take a look, and make sure I book in advance!
I'm absolutely heartbroken to hear that Hiro is gone. Will be interesting to see how much changes now that Atari-ya have taken over...
gratify channel me the scary car ad, with the car driving drink a pretty region route and then a cry comes
